When those of us who are working on grass energy get together at a meeting or conference, we’re often amazed to learn what other people are doing around our region. Since most of us are too busy to get together regularly, we’ve created this virtual space to help keep each other informed. An invited group of local grass energy leaders and experts will supply regular posts to keep us informed of what they are doing. Our initial focus will be on developments in New York State, but we hope to broaden the discussion to include what is happening in Vermont, Pennsylvania, and other states once we get our feet under us. The emphasis will stay on the opportunities and challenges in the Northeast, with content focused on what works in our climate, our ecosystems, our communities, and our regional economy.
Anyone who is interested in what our contributors have to say is encouraged to comment — within the usual guidelines: keep the discussion informative and civil, and don’t use a comment as a disguised ad for a particular product or service. We reserve the right to screen out comments that don’t meet our guidelines.
